INCIDENTS:
Theft at Barnaby's (1900 block of West Chester Pike) on 11/9 at 8:05 p.m. — Victim reported that someone punched out his lock on his vehicle and stole his briefcase from his backseat. The briefcase contained cash, numerous credit cards, gun permit, wallet and driver's license.
Theft at Swiss Farms (1200 block of Township Line Road) on 11/9 at 8:26 p.m. — A black male stole two cartons of cigarettes and fled the store.
Counterfeiting at Haverford Senior High School (200 block of Mill Road) on 11/9 at 12:31 p.m. — A student attempted to purchase a drink in the cafeteria with a counterfeit $20 bill.
Drug Equipment Violations at McDonalds (1200 block of West Chester Pike) on 11/9 at 6:27 p.m. — While conducting a vehicle investigation it appeared as if the driver and passenger were under the influence of a controlled substance. The officer located a bag of heroin when the driver exited his vehicle. A vehicle search was conducted and officer also found eight hypodermic needles. Tony Eby, 23, was arrested and charged.
