How do I remove baking soda/carpet cleaner odor?
Question: I used baking soda for carpets with pets and the baking soda smells awful. I've vacuumed three times since, changing the bag but the baking soda smell is still there. The carpet really didn't smell to begin with, but I thought the baking soda would freshen up the house a bit.
Answer: You are going to have to get a steam cleaner and scrub the carpets with that and the soap required for the cleaner. You can rent one if you don't own one. That's the quickest way, the other option is just time. Or get another brand without baking soda in it, they have a Glade
