This morning was the conclusion of the 2011 Green Country Christmas promotion with more than $30,000 in cash and prizes given out to local shoppers. More than 90 businesses in Washington County joined in the celebration by passing out the green tickets to anyone entering their place of business.
The Grand Prize of $5,000 in cash from KWON, KYFM, KRIG, KPGM Radio went to Stacy King of Nowata. King, who was listening to the drawing while at work in Bartlesville, said the realization of winning the Grand Prize had not sunk in yet. King received the winning ticket at Atwood’s where she was shopping for relatives.
