Apex Interactive was one of the sponsors of 2upGamers Second Wave event held in Cape Town this past Friday night, and not only did they share excellent goodie bags with gamers that attended the evenings festivities, but they also took the opportunity to reveal a jam-packed line-up for Quarter 1 of 2012.
Quinton Davie kicked off the presentation by explaining how 2upGamers had caught the distributors attention. Apex, which has been distributing games in South Africa for five years now, believes that gaming has changed over the past few years, that it has become more mainstream and exciting, while social gaming has encouraged people to become more confident to explore the market and play games. This gaming movement is growing in South Africa, something which can clearly be seen in the number of gamers gathered at the Second Wave event.
